Martha's Nest

Martha's Nest has been designed for couples looking for a romantic little cottage and is also ideal when holidaying as a group and sharing facilities.

More compact than our other houses and all on one level, it centres around a beautifully furnished and spacious room, with a comfortable 5ft bed, a small dining table with 2 chairs and a 2-seater settee.The bathroom is large, with a low-sided bath with integral shower attachment, loo, bidet and hand wash-basin. The kitchen has a cooker, washing machine, fridge with separate freeze compartment, microwave, toaster, coffe-maker, iron & cold-box but sadly, no dishwasher.

Outside, overlooking the vines and a pond stocked with goldfish, water-lilies and frequented by (entertaining) frogs, there are the full facilities of Fumel to be enjoyed, including a gas barbeque, garden chairs & table, sun-beds and of course, a set of boules. The courtyard from this house enjoys the splendid sunsets.

Named after Martha Barrou, our lovely fluffy (ex) cat, who had her kittens here before we restored it.
